Travel Agent Slides Presentaion

Directions:  You will be making a presentation using Google Slides to convince an audience that they should travel to a certain city or place.  You can choose a major city like LA and New York or maybe a great vacation spot such as Branson, MO or Disney World.  You need to be able to show the audience different and exciting things to do and "sell" them on the idea of going there.

Assignment #1
You need to do a starter sheet to help you with your presentation.  The assignment sheet is given in Google Classroom.  Go there to find the sheet and answer the questions.  Please ask if you have any questions on anything.

Assignment #2
You will then need to proceed to start your Google Slides Presentation by following the outline listed below.  You are starting with a blank presentation.  There is a video below the outline as well as an example that should help you.

Slide Outline (what you should have on each Slide)

Slide #1- Introduction
  • Location
  • Your Name

Slide #2- Destination
  • Show a U.S. map
  • Have an arrow pointing or a star showing where it is

Slide #3, #4, #5- Places to See
  • Show pictures
  • You MUST have at least THREE facts about each place
  • Look at the example to see how this can be done

Slide #6- References
  • List your websites used to find information with links to these sites (need at least 2)
  • DO NOT list Wikipedia as one of them
  • Google or any search engine is also not a source

Slide #7- Ending slide

  • If nothing else- make sure you have “The End” clearly stated
