Book/Movie Review

You are going to create a Book/Movie review using Prezi.  This is presentation software (like PowerPoint) but it runs a little different from a slide show.  Make sure you look at the requirements below to complete your project.  You may add more if you would like.  You also don't have to have each requirement fit into one "frame."  You can use as many frames as you would like to complete the requirement.  You will have to present these to the class when finished.  Here is how to get started:
  1. Go to:  Prezi.com
  2. Click on the "Get Started" button in the upper right corner
  3. Choose the "Public" option on the right (this is free); you will need to click "Continue Free"
  4. You will need to type in your information
  • Type your first name
  • Type just the first letter of your last name
  • Type in an email address; if you don't want to use yours or you don't have one- type in: first name + first letter of last name @tuscola.com (i.e. if your name is john smith you would put: [email protected])
  • Put is "Student" as the option for "What do you do?"
  • Choose a password that you can remember- YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!!!!
    5.  You may be asked for grade level. Just select "Other" since middle school is not an option.
    6.  You will then go through a little tutorial and finally be ready to start.

Requirements for Movie/Book Review

1.      Try to stick with a movie/book you know well

2.      Must have at least ten slides

3.      You may use this order (but are not limited to):

·         Intro
·         Summary
·         Characters
·         Setting
·         Favorite Parts
·         Awards
·         Other Critical Reviews (look online)
·         Your Review
·         Other similar movies (if you like this one you will like…..)
·         Ending

4.      Make sure you have at least 5 pictures total

5.      Have fun- Edit it and make it original!
