7th Grade Google Sheets
Directions: There are two assignments listed here. The first assignment is a short worksheet that is given to you in Google Forms. It kind of looks like a multiple choice quiz, but you are obviously free to use any resources to answer the questions. You should read through the lessons at: https://edu.gcfglobal.org/en/googlespreadsheets/. Focus on Lessons 8-18. These lessons give a good introduction to Google Sheets and how to use it. The questions from the Assignment #1 can be answered by looking through this site. Make sure to type your name in the Google Form- it is posed as a question. There is nothing more to do once you submit this.
Assignment #2 is an actual assignment using Google Sheets. There are several documents with with this assignment. The first is the actual instructions. Read through this carefully on what to do. The second document contains the numbers you will be using to complete the assignment. I give you this through Google Classroom so I suggest you use that one. You want to fill in the blank columns and you will have a chart to make. The third document is an example of what yours should look like. This is not EXACTLY the way it should look because you are using different numbers, but it should look similar. The goal is to find the best salesman or saleswoman by using the formulas given so make sure you clearly show that by typing out the winner. At the very bottom should be a video (probably up by Friday, May 8th) that I made to explain how to do this assignment. Please email me with any questions if you are having trouble. Good luck!
