Step #2: Illinois Laws on Bullying/Cyberbullying
Go to the website: http://www.stopbullying.gov/laws/illinois.html
Answer the following questions on a sheet of paper:
1. Do Illinois bullying laws cover Cyberbullying?
2. Name three groups that Illinois laws say cannot be discriminated against.
3. Scroll down to where you see five links that take you to Illinois Statutes about bullying. Click on the second to last one: "Bullying Prevention".
In section (b) you should find a clear definition to bullying. Do you agree with this definition? Is there anything you would change?
