We are going to make updated PBIS videos in class. These videos will follow the PBIS matrix and be helpful for everyone in the school to watch and it will give groups the opportunity to work with video in Microsoft Movie Maker. You will be placed in groups of four or five students. Each group will take one area of the PBIS Matrix (hallway, bathroom, office, etc.) and you will shoot a video on how to act and how to not act in those areas. There will also be some other criteria that you will need to meet. Below is a tentative list of things that will need to be completed for this project:
1. Get with group and pick an area of the matrix that you want to work with
2. Fill out the "starter" sheet to help get started on this project
3. Have your "starter" sheet approved and begin the filming
4. Editing
1. Get with group and pick an area of the matrix that you want to work with
- Have several ideas in mind because only one group will be doing an area for both 8th grade sections
- Watch the videos in the class folder and look at the matrix (Classes Drive--> Minger Folder--> PBIS Folder)
2. Fill out the "starter" sheet to help get started on this project
- This is part of the planning phase
- Things can always be changed around later, but try to be as complete as you can now
3. Have your "starter" sheet approved and begin the filming
- You will need to go to a particular area of the school
- You may film with a group member's phone or a camera provided by instructor
4. Editing
- Upload the video to a computer and begin the editing process
- Make sure to follow the requirements given
