What is a Public Service Announcement?
A Public Service Announcement (PSA) is a message in the public interest disseminated by the media without charge, with the objective of raising awareness, changing public attitudes, and behavior towards a social issue. PSAs are generally issues that everyone can get behind such as stopping world hunger or bullying prevention. PSAs are not controversial topics such as immigration.
Your group will be creating your own PSA on a topic of your choice. You will begin by coming up with a topic that you can all agree on. You will then need to fill out the starter sheet below:
